iPhone 5 has a big battery capacity which is 2% larger than the previous iPhone 4. Apple claimed that the iPhone 5 will get 2% more battery backup than the previous model. Apple has also made big changes to the charging speed of this device.

iPhone 5 has a 1440 mAh non-removable lithium-ion battery which is enough for an all-day backup. Apple claimed that the device can provide up to 10 hours of video or 40 hours of audio playback time on a full charge. On our heavy uses, we got about 4 hours and 30 minutes of screen on time.

iPhone 5 Charging Speed

iPhone 5 supports up to 5.45W wired charging which will charge this device normally. Apple advertised that Charging the device with a 5.45-watt charger will take up to 60 minutes to charge 30% and up to 180 minutes to charge to 100%.
